We so enjoyed gathering together to celebrate at our Influencer’s Dinner. We wanted to share the videos from that night that speak to some of the places you’re giving has gone and the lives that are impacted.

Heather started watching Nova Online during the pandemic. At the time she was far from God and wanted nothing to do with faith or Church. Through the ministry of Nova Church accessible through Nova Online, she committed her life to Jesus fully and recently graduated from McMaster Theological Seminary. Your Generosity paved the way to help make this happen.

Josh is a graduate from Kingswood University in New Brunswick. For his final semester he was required to do an internship / church placement, and through a personal connection with Pastor Mike, reached out to Nova. Your generosity not only helped to pay for his living accommodations and costs, but also helped to keep him in an environment where he was equipped with practical tools for future ministry.

The Nova Scotia Foster Parent Association is a volunteer led and run organization by foster families for foster families. The highlight of many of these foster families year is the annual Christmas party, where families are able to connect with one another and siblings who have been placed in separate homes are able to re-connect. Thanks to your generosity, Nova was able to provide gifts for over 150 kids this year.

Thank you for your continued generosity, and the influence you have in and beyond our church.

We would also love the support of your prayer.
We believe that prayer is critical to the health, vibrancy, and progress of our church.

As we press on to all that God has would you go with us in prayer?

Below you will find our 2022 report. We think God did some incredible things in and through our church last year, and we can't wait to see what he will do next.

NOVA  CHURCH  | 2022 impact report

Dear Nova Church Family,

We find it hard to believe how fast this year has gone by! Reflecting on this past year we have found it one of the most challenging ones in recent memory (which is saying a lot) and I know many of you would echo these feelings but we also find ourselves eternally grateful for how much divine strength and help we have experienced in navigating it. Starting in March when we finally saw us being able to meet consistently and uninterrupted for in person services and with that seeing many people come back to gathering again as a church and also seeing an influx of new attenders, many of which have quickly become integral parts of our Nova family.
This Fall saw us celebrate our 5th birthday together as a church and ushered in such a rewarding season with the launch of The Prayer Room, our first ever Dream Team retreat and this November bringing our highest weekly attendance ever! Who would have thought? We have so much to thank God for as a church.

This year end report helps us look back on the year we’ve had and remember how good God has been to us and also stirs up thankfulness for each other (YOU the CHURCH) in our passionate attending, serving, praying and giving. As we prepare to step into a new year we invite you to join us in dreaming again and believing for more awareness of God’s presence and more opportunity to impact our city.

We love you deeply,

Pastors Mike & Nancy

BAPTISMS & CHILD DEDICATIONS

For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was.
We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.

Romans 6:4-6 NLT
